Filming Scotland provides top of the range Production & Location Management services for the Film, TV & Fashion industry throughout Scotland.

Set up in 2001 by Nomi & Dave with over 20 years combined experience we have produced numerous successful shoots including Feature Films, TV, Commercials, Music Videos, Documentaries, Corporate Videos as well as numerous high end Stills campaigns.

Our aim is to provide the ultimate shoot experience for any visiting or domestic company, providing a huge variety of production services from location fixing for small documentaries to a full production service for feature films.

From crew to casting to catering we work with only the best and most experienced crew in Scotland to ensure your shoot is a great success.

Locations

We have an extensive database and knowledge of many unique locations in Scotland as well as having access to a huge number of Historical and Modern buildings including castles, stately homes, houses, apartments, hunting lodges, estates, mountain ranges, caves, woodlands, gardens, moorlands, seascapes, and much more…

As members of the Guild of Location Managers, the UK’s official body for the profession we are in a position to offer anything from location fixing to full location management services that meet the high standards required for this industry sector.

Casting

Nomi has been a Casting Director for many adverts, fashion shoots and films over the last few years. From an acting and directing background, she has a keen sensibility for which person fits perfectly into each role.

We have fabulous studios and casting facilities for a casting with the client or alternatively a video casting.

Due to more and more client requests, we have now also set up our own database of models and actors. As such we have exclusive access to a great range of male and female models and actors all with good performance/shoot experience. The Green Room

At Filming Scotland we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. We are members of the green achievers scheme and as such we are committed to keeping waste to a minimum on all productions and finding new ways of keeping our carbon footprint down.

We offset all our productions using a unique calculation based on call sheet information. This allows us to offset the emissions we have created on a shoot by planting trees. Once your shoot is complete you will be sent a certificate to recognise your company’s contribution to the environment at no extra cost to you.

We are also working in conjunction with Water Aid to help bring safe water to developing countries across the world. In agreement with each individual client we are aiming to cut out using bottled water on sets and instead we provide the best Scottish tap water in personalised water bottles for each crew member. The money saved on buying bottled water is then put towards Water Aid projects in developing countries across the globe.

The Silver Room

New from Winter 2011, The Silver Room will be a bespoke production vehicle exclusive to Filming Scotland. We have refurbished a vintage Airstream Motorhome to accommodate today’s production requirements. The fabulous vehicle will provide you with Hair, Make up & Wardrobe room, a production lounge/office with tv monitors and entertainment systems, fully fitted kitchen with cappuccino machine, toilet & washroom, all under one mobile roof.
